This role requires a strategic thinker and leader, with the ability to drive sales and foster relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of prospecting for new business, conducting sales presentations, and managing executive meetings. This role demands a deep understanding of the hotel industry and a strong background in event sales, catering sales, and event coordination. The Permanent National Sales Manager will be pivotal in driving our national sales strategy and achieving our ambitious growth objectives.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement a robust national sales strategy to increase market share and revenue.2. Prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, tradeshows, etc. 3. Conduct high-impact sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing our unique selling points and value proposition.4. Oversee the coordination of events and catering sales, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.5. Act as the executive meeting manager, facilitating high-level discussions and negotiations.6. Leverage Delphi and other sales tools to manage client relationships, track sales progress, and forecast future sales.7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the hotel industry.8. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform sales strategies.9. Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the sales team to enhance their performance and professional growth.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.2. Proven experience in prospecting for new business, conducting sales presentations, and managing executive meetings.3. Solid background in event sales, catering sales, and event coordination.4. Proficiency in using Delphi or equivalent sales management tools.5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.7. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.8. Ability to travel frequently to attend industry events and meet with clients.9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
