Job Description:
Lactation Consultant - Obstetrics Acute
Location: Napa, CA
Schedule: Part Time - 48 Biweekly Hours
Shift: 8-hour, Day
Accountable for the direct and indirect care for infants and women
both in the inpatient or outpatient clinic setting. Responsible to
provide postpartum maternal and neonatal assessments. Develops
feeding plans to address the nutritional needs of the infant that
may include but is not limited to breastfeeding support, breast
pumping support, and supplementation as appropriate. Provides
lactation support and education to mothers as directed by referral
or in the outpatient setting after discharge.
