Job Title: Assembly Technician

Department: Clean Room Assembly

Report to: Clean Room Manager

Position Summary: Will perform the final assembly of Regulators and Valves. Will prepare sub assemblies for jobs in accordance with Bill of Material (BOM) requirements. Will communicate inventory levels to CR Manager and CR Supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: In the assembly of regulators, will count parts for inventory. Responsible for ensuring quantity in job is correct in accordance with BOMs. Responsible for ensuring bodies in job are correct. Will operate torque wrench to tighten parts. Inspect seat parts to ensure they comply with procedures. Communicate the priority of completed jobs to function testers. Must maintain cleanliness in units being assembled to ensure high purity of products. Will assist in other areas of Clean Room as directed by CR Manager and/or CR Supervisor.

Must become familiar with the quality systems documents within the department referenced on the Required Training Matrix (RTM-100). Interacts with other assemblers to communicate job priorities, status of inventory and will work as a team to complete jobs in a timely fashion. Questions, concerns, and problems will be addressed to the CR Manager, or CR Supervisor. Will communicate with DI Parts Washers on status of inventory of parts and bodies. Exchanges technical information between Assemblers, Function and Leak Testers.

Specific Job Skills:

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical procedures, and BOMs.

Must be able to use microscope, torque wrench, and various hand tools correctly.

Must be able to count parts accurately.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Qualifications:

Prefer high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience in a Clean Room environment. Previous experience in production manufacturing is helpful. Will receive on-the-job training for some essential functions and job skills.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $25.00
