Year Up is excited to offer a unique opportunity through our Application Development JOB Training Program, designed to equip young adults with critical tech skills in application development. This one-year, intensive training aims to bridge the opportunity divide by merging hands-on academic learning with real-world internships in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our participants will not only gain substantial knowledge in application development but will also experience professional growth and personal empowerment, preparing them for successful careers in tech. Participate actively in all learning modules and hands-on projects. Develop skills in programming, web development, and database management. Collaborate with peers and participate in group projects to enhance learning. Complete assignments and projects on time to demonstrate skill competence. Engage in internships with corporate partners to gain practical industry experience. Attend workshops and activities focused on professional development. Strong interest in technology and software development. Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program. While there are no initial certification requirements, students are encouraged to pursue industry-recognized certifications post-training.
