Job Description:
Are you a hands-on technology leader who thrives on empowering
others through tools, systems, and data? Do you enjoy rolling up
your sleeves to solve business problems at the intersection of IT,
operations, and AI? Are you eager to shape how teams across a
high-growth company use cutting-edge internal tools, including
AI-powered assistants, to do their best work? If so, we invite you
to be a part of our innovative team. As the Director of Internal
Technology and Applications, you’ll be a force-multiplier across
Ridgeline by driving forward our strategy for internal
technologies, business applications, and data systems. Reporting
directly to our Chief Security Officer, you will guide a skilled
team while also directly engaging with stakeholders across the
company. Your work will support everything from collaboration
platforms to AI-enabled tooling, ensuring the systems our people
use every day are intuitive, secure, and aligned with our company’s
growth. This role will be instrumental in delivering practical,
high-impact solutions that improve how work gets done, while
leveraging tools like ChatGPT and other emerging technologies to
boost productivity and streamline workflows. At Ridgeline, how we
work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners,
choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We
assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions—not
just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive
in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this
excites you, we’d love to meet you. The impact you have • Define
and lead the strategy for business applications, collaboration
platforms, and AI-driven workplace technologies • Manage, coach,
and develop Ridgeline’s Application Integration Services team to
build internal expertise and foster career growth • Collaborate
with business leaders to uncover pain points, identify quick wins,
and implement lasting improvements in tooling and workflows • Build
and maintain integration standards for automation, secure identity
management, and platform reuse • Establish and monitor OKRs that
align technology outcomes with employee satisfaction and
operational success • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to
ensure we’re building a secure, high-performing, and future-ready
tech stack • Partner with Compliance, Security, and Business
Operations to uphold governance and operational resilience • Pilot
and promote the adoption of AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT,
workplace copilots), curating use cases and enabling team-wide
adoption • Collect feedback and analytics to continuously optimize
technology impact • Cultivate a culture of experimentation,
continuous improvement, and shared success What we look for • 8–10
years leading IT, workplace technology, or application integration
in fast-paced, cloud-native environments • Demonstrated experience
managing enterprise-grade SaaS systems and productivity platforms
(e.g., Slack, Workday, Jira, Okta) • Strong understanding of
automation tools and identity protocols (e.g., SCIM, SAML, Python,
low-code tools like Workato) • Track record of building and scaling
reusable architecture and internal platforms • Effective project
management skills with experience rolling out new tech in
iterative, feedback-driven ways • Excellent communication skills
and a passion for technology that improves people’s day-to-day work
• Ability to foster trust and transparency while delivering
practical, people-centered tech solutions • Willingness to learn
about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a
business domain/problem space • An aptitude for problem solving •
Serious interest in having fun at work Bonus • Degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems, or related field • Experience working
with investment management systems • Familiarity with Agile
methodologies like Scrum or Kanban • Hands-on experience scaling
AI-enabled enterprise tooling (e.g., ChatGPT, Glean, workplace
copilots) • Experience with integration observability,
infrastructure-as-code, or CI/CD automation • Okta workflows,
advanced identity architecture, or relevant certifications (e.g.,
AWS, Okta Certified Professional) About Ridgeline Ridgeline is the
