Responsible for the Stagecoach power system and resources ensuring power continuity due to the remote location, power is self-sufficiently supplied. Responsible for the management and maintenance of the fleet, heavy equipment, generators, radio communication network and shop equipment. Primary contact/liaison for vendors and contractors in managing daily services, materials and troubleshooting equipment issues and needs. Works independently in supporting and understanding vineyard operations and facilities to identify and develop continuous improvementopportunities. Uses technical expertise to determine the impact of recommended changes and solution to the infrastructure of the Stagecoach property.What You Will Do:* Responsible for ensuring the Stagecoach facilities and vineyards has an adequate power supply through generators to operate continuously 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Ensure generators are in good working condition, maintain and repaired as needed and adequately fueled to ensure power continuity.* Oversees, manages and ensures the health of the water wells on the property, schedules preventative maintenance and troubleshoots pumping issues, test and manage the water data and reports required to ensure compliance of water quality and quantity.* Responsible for managing the preventative maintenance schedule, troubleshooting, communicating and partnering with vendors to obtain needed service and approves quotes and schedulesappointments ensuring the work is being performed satisfactorily by our vendors for Stagecoach ranch and farm equipment such as generators, heavy equipment, tractors, truck, etc.* Oversees the Stagecoach vehicles and equipment Fleet and Fuel Management ensuring leases,contracts, smog checks and registrations are current. Maintains record in the company ARI system* Oversees the on-site hazardous waste program ensuring proper and compliant handling, storing and disposing of such waste. Coordinates and schedules with the vendor to ensuring proper disposal* Responsible for inspecting and ensuring the frost fans network are working and functioning properly.* Provides and assist with safety related materials, training and reporting in Gensuite.* Works and performs job duties independently and makes necessary decisions without additional review or approval.-* Manages and adheres to budget guidelines for specific job-related items.* Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors to ensure the radio communications network are in good working order as they are the main source of communication at Stagecoach.* Responsible for harvest trucking and tractor trailer needs, acts as the company liaison with trucking firms to ensure equipment is available and arrives as needed. Organizes, maintains records andcommunicates load status, location and timing.* Manages the macro bin logistics, locations, cleanliness, breakage and repair.* Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with a variety of Stagecoach contract vendors performing services required for the ranch to maintain operations. Directs, oversees andapproved the work performed by contract vendors.* Responsible for and partners with our vendors to ensure the maintenance shop is fully stocked with parts and supplies.* Makes recommendations in procedures and processed in support of continuous improvement.What You Will Need:* High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of ranch or vineyard operations, production, operations, compliance experience including heavy equipment knowledge and maintenance ranch experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor degree plus 1 years of ranch or vineyard operations, production, operations, compliance experience including heavy equipment knowledge and maintenance ranch experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.* Required to drive and travel to various company properties to inspect and perform job duties to include working extended hours, weekends, holidays, nights and early and late shifts as needed.* Required to become the subject matter expert for the Stagecoach power system.* Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
