Candidates will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy interventions to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitative health in a variety of patient populations. Required Qualifications: - Years of Experience: 2 years preferred - Certifications: BLS, State License Preferred Skills: - Pediatric therapy - Activities of Daily Living - Autism intervention - Sensory Integrative Testing/Treatment - Wheelchair Evaluation & Positioning - Adaptive Equipment Assessment (Adult and Pediatric) - Cognitive Assessment Work Settings: - Adult Outpatient - Hand Clinic - Pediatric Outpatient - Various other settings including rehabilitative care for arthritis, stroke, hand injury, and neurological disorders Patient Population: - Adolescents - Adults - Pediatrics - Geriatrics Daily Responsibilities: - Perform patient evaluations and assessments - Create and implement individualized treatment plans - Conduct reassessments to track progress - Provide patient and family education regarding therapy plans - Facilitate pre-discharge planning to ensure patients are ready for transition Professional Development: Candidates should have a solid understanding of therapy modalities and manual skills. Continuous education and skill enhancement are encouraged. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside Physical Therapy staff to provide comprehensive care.
