Job Description IDR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Helena, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Description\n Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. \n \nRequirement\n Outpatient Surgery and 5 x 8s Monday- Friday. This is a preop/recovery position, not an OR position. Shifts are anywhere from 0530-1930 or when the patients are done. Pre and Post experience needed. Preop and Recovery - manager wanted this to me highlighted. \n\n Education and Work Experience: \n\n \n\t Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred\n\t Acute care facility experience: Preferred\n \n\n Licenses/Certifications: \n\n \n\t Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required\n\t Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required\n \n\n Department Specific License/Certifications: \n\n \n\t Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or RQIPALS: Required\n\t Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required\n \n IDR Job ID 457974. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
