Renowned Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Practice Seeks Experienced Private Duty Nurse - RN, NP, or PAWorld-renowned Deschamps-Braly Clinic (DBC) in San Francisco is seeking a private duty surgical RN, NP, or PA, to provide overnight support and recovery for our transgender patients. We perform our surgeries at a quiet and private Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in San Francisco and this position will work collaboratively with the ASC overnight staff to provide exceptional care to our recovering patients. The ideal candidate is required to have direct patient care experience. We are looking for a team player with a high level of emotional integrity, private duty experience, empathy, and someone who derives fulfillment from helping these patients through a critical part of their journey. We also appreciate a "can-do" attitude and highly efficient organizational skills.We are a busy office with very high standards in work ethic and patient care. Our objective is to provide concierge-level care to our surgical patients -- providing for every possible care need that may arise over the course of their overnight stay. Patients are to be discharged the following morning.General Schedule:--- Overnight shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, 3-4 nights per week.Key Responsibilities--- Direct Patient Care: Conduct thorough post-operative monitoring, physical exams, vital checks, wound care, and neuro checks.--- Patient Safety: Ensure patient ambulation and safe discharge by morning.--- Documentation: In conjunction with the ASC, maintain detailed, accurate patient records.--- Collaboration: Work closely with the DBC surgical team (Surgeon, PAs, Nurse Manager) as well as ASC staff to ensure seamless patient care.--- Technology Integration: Use Mac software, Google Drive, and other cloud-based tools to manage patient care efficiently.Candidate Requirements--- Licensure: Must hold a valid RN, NP, or PA license in California.--- Experience: Prior hospital-based patient care, particularly post-operative or critical care experience, is highly desired.--- Professionalism: Polished demeanor, conservative appearance, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.--- Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a high service, high-standards environment.--- Technology Skills: Proficiency in Mac software, Google Drive, and scheduling tools is required.Additional Information--- Candidates will undergo credit and background checks.--- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and includes sick time in accordance with SF sick-time policy, as well as other benefits.--- Applicants must submit:--- A detailed resume.--- A cover letter outlining qualifications and experience.--- Three professional references.If this exceptional opportunity sounds like your next career move, please reach out to us with your detailed information to: plasticcraniofacialsurgery@gmail.com
