Description







Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Required Qualifications:









  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.



  • California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.



  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.



  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.









    Preferred Qualifications:









    • 1 year experience in Mammography.



    • Experience with MQSA standards.
