It's all possible with a leadership team committed to hiring talented people and helping them develop their careers.If this sounds like a place you'd like to be, we're eager to meet you!Exercising considerable independent judgment, the Talent Acquisition Manager is a high-performing Recruiter, responsible for the overall program development and management of the Credit Union's Talent Acquisition Department. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding service, lead the talent acquisition program for both internal and external candidates alike. Plan, supervise, administer, and manage day-to-day activities and functions of the team, while simultaneously supporting the strategic efforts of the Redwood Credit Union "People" group (Employee Events & Engagement, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Training).Executive Recruitment

  • Drive a high-touch, proactive, and consultative search process.
  • Source, attract, and deliver highly qualified passive candidates, while developing a pipeline of talent for future workforce planning.
  • Advise hiring leaders on search strategy, effective and efficient search processes, and market/hiring trends.
  • Assess candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers, manage the evaluation process and hiring decisions, execute candidate follow-up and feedback.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all specialized talent acquisition needs.
  • Consult with hiring leaders to define ideal candidate profiles and develop compelling job narratives.
  • Consult with recruiting team members, hiring managers, and the Credit Union's leadership team to develop search strategies and proactively recruit diverse talent pipelines.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with hiring managers, applicants, community organizations, placement agencies, and other recruiting resources in a manner that supports RCU's mission, vision, values, and culture, and yields successful, predictable results.
  • Develop and deploy strategies that grow the Credit Union's employer brand as an employer of choice.
  • Promote Redwood Credit Union with candidates and team members at all levels, answering questions and ensuring strong delivery of a positive, engaging, and supportive experience for all.
  • Provide guidance and direction of starting wages for job offers based on candidates' qualifications, internal Compensation Administration Program, internal equity, and RCU policies and procedures.Department Management
    • Manage the Recruiting staff including setting goals, work assignments and productivity to ensure superior service and achievement of goals.
    • Meet established departmental and Credit Union goals and objectives.
    • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate an effective Talent Acquisition workforce.
    • Inspire, encourage, and mentor staff to ensure excellent Member service.
    • Conduct regular staff and coaching meetings.
    • Recommend, monitor, and adjust department expenses and related budgets.
    • Attend internal and external management meetings and represent the Credit Union at external functions and activities.Program Management & Development
      • Coach management and hiring teams on effective interviewing strategies, and practices, while developing accurate, practical, and informative tools and resources.
      • Create, monitor, and report on key metrics that are results-oriented and produce a continuous and diverse talent pipeline.
      • Build systems and processes of accountability and ownership for all areas of Talent Acquisition.
      • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations and ordinances.
      • Maintain and manages all recruiting metrics and records relating to talent acquisition, including those both within and outside of the primary ATS.
      • Analyze local job markets, forecast employment needs, and assist with the development of annual recruitment plans.
      • Develop and maintain market intelligence relevant to the talent needs of the organization, to include maintaining a network of diverse industry contacts, and market related compensation and competition.
      • Research and recommend new sources, tools, and technology for active and passive candidate recruitment.
      • Collaborate with leadership to manage, reconcile, and make recommendations for the annual recruitment budget.
      • Serve as the primary contact for any escalated or otherwise sensitive recruitments and/or communications.
      • May lead major project initiatives, including process improvement and systems implementation.
      • Review recruitment and selection material for compliance with internal procedures.
      • Perform maintenance and day-to-day administration of the ATS and related systems, including the communication and training for major releases that impact Recruiters, and Hiring Managers who interface with any recruiting systems and applications.
      • Provide support and insight to the Employee Relations department on the development of job description, job profiles, compensation structuring, and other job structure elements.Supervisory Responsibilities

          • Expert in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing to hire.
          • Ability to effectively influence and navigate across organizational teams and departments, building strong relationships with Management, Senior Leadership and Executive.
          • Excellent people management, mentorship, and team development.
          • Thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection methods and procedures.
          • Current knowledge of California and federal labor laws, rules and regulations related to recruitment and selection including affirmative action planning.
          • Strong technical aptitude with a proven ability to manage, implement and administer numerous applications and toolsets in a rapidly changing environment.
          • Strong skills in the operation of a PC with the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and communication software.
          • Demonstrated knowledge of senior level recruiting techniques, recruitment plan development, and sourcing methods.
          • Extensive experience establishing key performance metrics in the areas of recruitment.
          • Extensive experience with progressive recruiting techniques including Boolean searching/logic, social media/networking channels, and other online communities.
