A Tasting Room Manager position is open at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Napa CA. If you have superior customer service skills, are skilled in hospitality and are excited to lead a dynamic team, join our tasting room team!

Today, we specialize in Cabernet Sauvignon but also produce Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and several wines that are only available direct to consumer. Job responsibilities include:

  • Manage the coordination of daily on-site hospitality activities that drive sales results.
  • Create positive guest experiences through ongoing staff support, training, and development. Set clear direction during periods of high volume (ex: concerts).
  • Supervise all aspects of wine shop operations, including sales, customer service standards and personnel management. POS operations.
  • Lead and develop tasting room leads, associates, hosts and assistants.
  • Act as consistent communication liaison between management and Tasting Room staff. Provide clear direction to entire Tasting Room staff regarding company strategies and management direction.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to increase sales and Brand awareness. Position Requirements:
    • Two or more years of customer service and sales experience required
    • Ability to train and develop employees in a retail environment
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to train others and monitor their performance; provide feedback
    • Strong experience with Register/POS systems
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Scheduling Requirements:
      • Must be able to work various days/shifts of the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays
      • Physical Requirements:
        • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
        • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Your Compensation:

          $80,500 - $105,000/yr. based upon relevant experience.
