Sector Maintenance ManagerMichelin, the Worldwide leader in
Tires, is hiring!- - - - - - - - - - - -THIS OPEN POSITION IS
LOCATED ONLY AT THE FOLLOWINGLOCATIONS: Greenville US1MISSION:The
person in this position will be responsible for and lead a team of
-20-25 maintenance personnel in an area of the facility. They will
ensure the availability and durability of equipment in their sector
while optimizing maintenance costs and energy in a continuous
improvement approach. This is to allow operations to achieve its
goals of safety, quality, cost, and production.KEY EXPECTED
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Safety requirements are prioritized and always ensured
(personnel and equipment)
- The maintenance strategy is applied to equipment
criticality
- Maintenance plans are implemented, to include effective
reaction to breakdowns and proactive work on machinery to improve
control of the process (reliability).
- Effectiveness of machine interventions is continuously
optimized (The analysis of maintenance results is ensured and
implementation of necessary actions to ensure continuous progress
over short- and medium-term horizons)
- Maintenance cost is optimized: operational efficiency, energy,
and spare parts consumption
- Master the tools and processes of lean manufacturing
- The reliability of equipment is ensured, by dealing with
obsolescence cases
- Resources are adapted (competency and quantity), training and
succession plans are created and carried
outPREREQUISITES/REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years prior maintenance management experience
- Confirmed leadership of teams, have examples of the ability to
facilitate progress
- Technical degree is a plus
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
- Consistent record of development of people through coaching and
