You're Excited AboutUSBecause You Will...
-Actively solicit new business opportunities through prospecting
new customers (including groups, travel managers, travel agents,
and consumers).
-Seek methods to penetrate key business activities within the
marketplace and find profitable ways to bring this business to the
hotel
-Actively participate in industry related organizations. Attend
trade shows, community events and industry meetings to develop
business.
-Maintain detailed information about clients/prospective clients
and enter data into property's computer systems.
-Conduct familiarization trips. Participate in local community to
develop business.
We're Excited AboutYOUBecause...
-You have earned a high school diploma or general education degree
(GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management desired.
-You have Two or more years of related sales experience (i.e.
Catering/Event Sales, Event Coordination, or as an Executive
Meeting Manager) in a similar sized hotel/resort or winery
operation. Experience selling to various assigned markets desired
(i.e. Corporate, Education, Association, SMERF).
-You can create and effectively provide sales presentations and
materials to potential customers.
-You use discretion with confidential information.
-You demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor
while exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-You possess solid knowledge of hotel service standards, guest
relations, and etiquette.
-You can learn, follow and maintain effective sale processes
designed to attain maximum revenue while ensuring adherence to
established operating criteria.
-You have a working knowledge of MS Office applications and the
ability to learn and use telephone and computer systems used at the
hotel. Proficiency with DELPHI preferred.
-You are willing and able to work varying schedules to reflect the
business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on
holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$115,000.
This position receives uncapped sales-based bonus. The actual
salary offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and
determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of
the final candidate. This role is eligible for health insurance,
dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term
disability, long-term disability, 401k, educational reimbursement,
and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
