Job Description Job Description Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager - Heavy Civil Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager - Heavy Civil Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager for our Heavy Civil projects. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is pivotal in coordinating project activities, managing resources, and liaising with stakeholders to drive project success. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of heavy civil projects. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports. Assist in the management of project budgets and financial performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all phases of the project. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy civil construction. Proficient in project management software, such as Procore. Strong understanding of construction processes and practices, particularly in paving, concrete, and utilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
