The Doctors Company Finance team has an opportunity for a Regulatory Filing Analyst. This is a hybrid position located at our Napa, CA Headquarters.Position MissionThe Doctors Company, the nation's largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, is seeking a Regluatory Filing Analyst. Reporting to the AVP Assistant Controller, this position is a key role in annual and quarterly reporting process. Position is responsible for submitting all financial filings to state regulators, rating agencies and others. This position also provides general office support to the department and backup for other tasks as needed. It requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent work ethic and patience and flexibility under tight deadlines. The position works with minimal supervision. -Qualifications

• Two (2) to four (4) years' experience in general office duties with high volume and strict deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong MS Word. Proficient with tables and formatting.
• Good excel skills used to maintain filing matrix
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable with talking to all levels of management, state regulators, and others.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
• Must hold or be willing and qualified to earn a California Notary License
• Must work in Napa office a minimum of two set days per week, plus additional days as needed.Salary Range: -$54,214 - $67,456ResponsibilitiesRegulatory and Agency Filings
  • Maintain matrix of required regulatory filings to ensure timely submission of all documents
  • Communicate with regulators to ensure the complete understanding of filing requirements
  • Monitor multiple email boxes and respond to or distribute emails to appropriate persons
  • Coordinate the signing and notarization for all documents as required
  • Assist accountants with various data callsGeneral Office Support
    • Maintain corporate organizational charts in Word and Excel
    • Coordinate conference rooms for auditors, examiners and other guests
    • Assist with event planning for department functions
    • Maintain annual statement and audit report inventory
    • Maintain subscriptions for various manualsOther Duties as Assigned
